Giorgetti S.p.A. was founded towards the end of the 1800s. However, it would be more appropriate to define it as a child of the 1900s, when the company grew through relentless experimentations which animated the social and cultural circles of that period. Designer furniture, like art and haute couture, also rapidly evolved through innovative and creative elements which have taken their place in history. In this context, Giorgetti S.p.A. stands out for having always created furniture with a unique design and an immediately identifiable style. Today, the institutional catalogue is made up of 110 collections which represent the artistic-cultural development of the company. Giorgetti is the history of a product which casts out predictability in order to realize exclusive and eclectic solutions, with respect for an instinctively elegant and unmistakeable character. The common fil rouge to all the collections is wood which, over the years, has been worked and fashioned, initially into a classical piece of furniture, and then evolving into a product which satisfies the requirements of contemporary living, while at the same time keeping the cabinet-making tradition alive. Today Giorgetti is the result of this path through history, becoming an incalculable patrimony. Below, the historical evolution of the company is mapped out in parallel with the crucial events which have marked the art world. The picture that is painted is of a century of experimentation in new art forms and rekindling approaches to authenticity. Giorgetti is an exemplary spokesperson of these times, representing a constant attention to research and innovation. |

ARABELLA armchair
Swivel armchair available with right or left arm and varnished base structure in bronze finish. The frame is in multi-layer poplar wood. The backrest has an internal frame made up of harmonic steel springs that enables the elasticity and makes the support ergonomic. The padding of the seat and of the backrest is in flexible multi-density expanded polyurethane, covered with polyester fibre. The base is composed of a wood fibre panel covered with varnished turned metal in bronze finish and of a steel device with ball bearing for the rotation. The spring-loaded wheels of the base allow the piece to be moved easily. The upholstery, completely removable, is available in fabric, in leather or leather for the seat and fabric/leather for the rest. A stretch fabric connects the several parts of the back upholstery facilitating the elasticity. An elastic string fixes the buttons allowing the cover to be removed. |

THEO table Dining table with the top in alveolate of aluminium and black and white epoxy resin, with the inserts in solid pau ferro and brilliant polished. The legs are in black blown glass and thick to ensure the top stability; they are equipped with upper tip and foot-cap in multilayer beech wood covered in metal, with dull chrome finishing. The table is available in two sizes. |

DORA chair Dining chair and armchair with the legs in solid polished beech wood and the seat in multilayer beech wood. The padding is in multi-density polyurethane foam. The backrest structure is in curved aluminium. The saddle leather covering is available in various colours with the option of having matching piping for the backrest, available in various shades. |

ARTURO Cabinet with a standard structure for all versions: the veneer is in brilliant polished ebony macassar for the exterior while the interior is in natural matt polished maple. The hinges, the border, the doors and the feet tips are in natural varnished brass while the door handles are in moulded varnished brass. Four LED bulbs (1W) light the inside of the structure thanks to a sensor which automatically activates lights as soon as the doors open. The adjustable feet are in molded transparent crystal glass, with varnished brass tips. An internal kit in polished natural matt maple wood allows different configuration of the furniture, according to the use it is required for. |

EXEDRA Desk Executive desk in plywood, wood fibres board and veneered polished pau ferro. The top is in post molded pau ferro veneer. The cable holder is in solid pau ferro and it may be inserted on the right, left or on both sides. The chests of drawers are equipped with a mechanic lock and they have three identical drawers on the right and two drawers on the left side: one is small and the other is bigger with a series file holder. The completely removable drawers come on disappearing runners and are equipped with Silent System closing. On the back of the chest of drawers, two small doors lead to a standard series compartment that can be used for accommodating cables or using accessories. A central drawer is placed between the two chests of drawers and it is characterized by the presence of compartments inside, for pens and paper, which are covered with natural saddle leather. The bases of the chests of drawers are in brushed and coated extruded aluminium. |
